The Hate Story series, known for its erotica, turned out to be a sex education class for Karan Singh Grover — not quite in the way you’d imagine though. The actor admitted that he had never heard the word sambhog (Hindi for sex) until he read Vikram Bhatt’s script for Hate Story 3. Confused by the use of the word and its recurrent mention in the story, he spoke to co-star Sharman Joshi who is it seems, is better acquainted with Hindi.
Sharman cleared the air for his co-star who offered much amusement to the crew with his new-found vocabulary. “He no longer has sex,” someone on the sets joked. “He only has sambhog”.
