John Abraham’s marriage on the rocks

The Couple’s professional life is causing a lot of problems in their marriage

In Bollywood, marriages are falling apart with an alarming frequency. Barely have we gotten over rumours of Shilpa Shetty’s marriage with Raj Kundra being in trouble when the buzz comes that John Abraham’s two-year-old marriage with investment-banker Priya Runchal is facing rough weather too.

A colleague of John’s reveals, “They’ve drifted apart. There’s nothing seriously wrong between them. But then, there was nothing so right between them for things to go wrong.”

According to a source, the growing rift is due to their long-distance marriage.

“The couple is hardly together. Nowadays, distance doesn’t make the heart grow fonder, but makes the heart wander. John needs to spend time with his wife. But his career keeps him busy here and she too won’t take time off from her job in the US. She isn’t comfortable with John’s Bollywood friends either,” says the source.

The couple needs to sort out their differences and how they do it is entirely up to them.
