Ishqiya 3 is very much on, confirms Arshad Warsi

The actor will be seen reprising his much adored 'Babban' in the third part of the franchise.

Mumbai: Arshad Warsi has confirmed that Ishqiya 3 is on course and that he’ll be returning to play the much loved ‘Babban’ in Ishqiya 3.

“Yes, we are in talks. Hopefully, Ishqiya 3 will be happening soon. Sometime next year, maybe”, DNA quoted Arshad as saying.

Ishqiya, which starred the Munnabhai actor alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Vidya Balan had released in 2010, opening to widespread critical acclaim and an above average box-office run. The much hyped sequel, Dedh Ishqiya, which had Madhuri Dixit and Huma Qureshi replacing Vidya Balan, released in 2014.

Arshad, who recently had given rise to hopes of him doing a cameo in the Jolly LLB sequel, will also be seen in 3 other sequels, namely Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again, Total Dhamaal and Rajkumar Hirani’s Munnabhai 3.
