For some time now, there have been reports doing the rounds that Lunchbox director Ritesh Batra has roped in Kangana Ranaut and Irrfan Khan for his next. The actress also confirmed that she is excited to work with Batra and is looking forward to start the film. Irrfan however, left everyone puzzled when in a recent interview he said that he hadn’t discussed the project with the director yet. That hasn’t changed anything for Kangana though. Says a source close to the actress, “She will do the film as she has liked the subject. It doesn’t matter who will be cast opposite her. She stands by the film.” Kangana’s friend maintains that she never gets involved with the cast of the film. She will soon start shooting for Hansal Mehta’s next.
If the two do end up doing the film, it will be their second film together after Life in a Metro, although they weren’t cast opposite each other in that one.
