Hrithik Roshan: When the truth’s on your side, you don’t need support

Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan’s very public spat a couple of months ago had audiences and to a certain extent, industry folks, unwittingly taking sides. During the entire hullabaloo, Kangana came out to speak up in her defence — rather eloquently at that — while adding a feather to her cap in the form of the National Award. Sonam Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Abhishek Bachchan are believed to have rooted for Kangana through the ordeal too. And all this while, when Kangana was making the right noises, Hrithik maintained a stoic silence, going about his work commitments and family holidays. The actor seemed in no mood to offer an explanation or counter argument.

He is believed to have been miffed with a few friends from Bollywood for not having openly stood by him. The actor however could not evade the question at the promotion of his upcoming film Mohenjo Daro. When asked about his side of the story, the actor only said, “When the truth is on your side, you don’t need support.”
