Hrithik Roshan has been in talks with director Nikhil Advani for the latter’s next film for a while now. The two have been brainstorming over narrations and script readings, as is the process with every film before an actor signs on the dotted line. But Hrithik’s interest in the project seems to have waned of late. From what is anyone’s guess, it may have something to do with Nikhil’s last two debacles at the box office — Hero and Katti Batti.
Says a source, “At least Hero gave some sort of visibility to Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi, but Katti Batti was a flop entirely. Hrithik, who used to discuss the film with Nikhil with much enthusiasm, has suddenly lost interest in the project. He had a discussion with his team and decided to pull out of it, finally. Anyway, he has his plate full at the moment with the shoot of Mohenjodaro and Victor Acharya’s next film.”
