First it was Suniel Shetty who walked out of the film owing to the delay in its shoot schedule. Then it was Abhishek Bachchan who distanced himself from the project citing similar issues. The latest we hear is that work on the film has been stalled since the first half of 2015.
In fact, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Neha Sharma had completed shooting the first schedule of the film in early of 2015 in Dubai, but there has been no progress since.
Says a source, “The actors who are still part of the film haven’t been approached for dubbing either.”
Although filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala has repeatedly put such rumours to rest, given its various jinxes, the fate of the film seems very uncertain as of now, adds the source.
Meanwhile, John has been keeping busy with his other upcoming films Dishoom and Force 2 this year and actress Neha Sharma is gearing up for her next romantic musical Tum Bin 2 and Shirish Kunder’s short film Kriti.
