While Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra have been gearing up to promote their upcoming film Kapoor and Sons, their co-star Fawad Khan wasn’t likely to join them — until now.

While Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra have been gearing up to promote their upcoming film Kapoor and Sons, their co-star Fawad Khan wasn’t likely to join them — until now. The actor was facing troubles to get a visa for inter-city tour of the country, but has just received clearance from the visa authorities, putting to rest any concerns about the film’s promotion.
A close source to Fawad confirmed, “Fawad has received his visa to promote Kapoors and Sons recently. We were all a little worried.”
With the release date nearing, the three leads are leaving no stone unturned in promoting their film. Alia (who came back from here Goa schedule of Gauri Shinde’s untitled film, opposite Shah Rukh Khan) and Sidharth Malhotra (who just wrapped up his next with Katrina Kaif, Baar Baar Dekho) have already started the promotions. The team will be travelling to seven major cities of India in the following weeks.
“Fawad will finally join the film team for their city promotions starting this week. He is looking forward to it,” the source added.
