: Salman Khan, whose interviews often make for a very good read for his flamboyant quotes and interesting answers is being trolled since yesterday.
In a group interaction with the media, Salman spoke about the challenges he faced while shooting for Sultan. He said, “You look like a fraud if you haven’t trained properly. You need to put in those many hours as any wrestler does it and that's what we have done. Now when you are shooting, you are continuously wrestling for 6 hours. So if I have to pick up a 120 kg person, and drop him down, I got to do it 10 times. In the wrestling match, it happens once or twice. 10 times from 5 different angles for 6-7 hours, either I am picking up or throwing or he is picking me up and throwing me. It is like the most difficult thing. When I used to walk out of the ring, it was actually like a raped woman walking out. I couldn’t walk straight. I would eat and then, head right back to training. That couldn’t stop.-"
This answer obviously stunned the 20-25 journalists hearing him talk. However in few seconds, the actor immediately corrected himself and in an apologetic tone said that he shouldn’t have said it. All of them nodded in agreement as the actor was trying to explain a scenario to the gathering but immediately took back his words when he realized that he used a wrong phrase. He also humbly requested the media that they shouldn’t be using a quote which he said by mistake.
The conversation then flowed from shooting the film, to dancing for the songs including the director sharing interesting anecdotes. This quote which now may have become a talking point for the trolls was never said in an insensitive manner as it may appear to many now.
Here’s the proof, the audio when Salman Khan can be heard talking
