It has been a very festive week for the Khans.

It has been a very festive week for the Khans. Apart from celebrating Id, the family has also been rejoicing the success of Salman’s blockbuster Sultan that predictably had a successful opening at the box office — it raked in Rs 40 cores even before the release. A visibly happy dad, Salim Khan said, “Sultan is doing so well, we all do feel great about the fact. But we are family members, it is for the audiences to let us know if the film is being liked by them.”

It is that time of the year when the family gets together for festivities. “As usual we have a few guests visiting us. Meeting and greeting is part and parcel of any festive season. We all will sit down together and relish delicious homemade delicacies. Yes of course Salman too will join us, he is always there with the family during any festive season — may be for a short while owing to his busy schedule. Salman always loves to see the family together.”

Coming back to the film, does he have any favourite scenes from Sultan “I cannot choose any one favourite scene of my son. I loved the entire film. Salman has worked hard for each and every scene. It is indeed a Herculean task to perfect yourself in different fighting styles and be to be able to emote at the same time.”

The proud father believes that it is the human story that’ll touch hearts. “Without emotions, there’s no strength to a story. A good film is one that makes you laugh, cry and feel the emotions that the character is trying to portray. Everybody will identify with the story of Sultan.”
