Deepika’s XXX-rated project

After mesmerising audiences with her performance in Bajirao Mastani, Deepika Padukone is all set to conquer Hollywood in the sequel to XXX.

While the actress had sent the Internet into a tizzy after she previously posted a picture of herself with action star Vin Diesel, she had refused to confirm reports that she would be starring opposite him in the xXx film.

However, DJ Caruso — the director of XXX: The Return of Xander Cage — has now confirmed the reports on Twitter.

While interacting with his fans, the director revealed that the actress would join the film’s team in February and start with the shooting, saying, “We start in January. She starts sometime in February.” The film also stars Jet Li and Tony Jaa.
