Tiger Shroff, who is all set to play a superhero in A Flying Jatt, hopes he is not compared to his father.

After two successful action-packed films, Tiger Shroff has done a one-up on himself and will be seen slicing through the sky in his third feature film, A Flying Jatt. The superhero flick’s recently released teaser shows a “turbaned” Tiger dealing punches and locking horns with Hollywood import and villain Nathan Jones. While many have compared the film with Hrithik’s Krrish franchise, Tiger himself finds it hard to accept even being spoken in the same breath as his idol. “There’s no way I can be compared to Hrithik sir! He is the best. Also, my film A Flying Jatt is Remo (D’Souza) sir’s attempt at presenting a different take to the superhero genre, so it can’t be compared to Krrish,” explains an excited Tiger.

However, Hrithik isn’t the only one that Tiger is being compared to. Among other comparisons being made is his own father, Jackie Shroff’s superhero film Shiva Ka Insaaf.

Tiger exclaims, “That’s my all-time favourite film from dad’s work! As a child, I used to watch that film over and over again. Every son’s first superhero is his father and it was the same for me. For me, he was Superman and Batman combined.”

Shiva Ka Insaaf was the first 3D film in Hindi. Tiger recalls the allure of watching his dad fly across the sky and says, “I loved seeing my dad play the desi superhero. It came naturally to him, he was tall, well-built and his body language automatically rendered itself to the superhero mould. I, on the other hand, had to work hard to fit in to that mould. I hope I am not compared to my dad or Hrithik sir.”
