Busy-bee Tamannah Bhatia takes time off for friend
Tamannah Bhatia might be tied down with multiple commitments, be it Rajamouli’s sequel to Baahubali, Prabhu Deva’s next or the several endorsements or shoots that she is currently doing.

Tamannah Bhatia might be tied down with multiple commitments, be it Rajamouli’s sequel to Baahubali, Prabhu Deva’s next or the several endorsements or shoots that she is currently doing. But the actress always seems to make time for her friends and loved ones. It’s no news that the beautiful actress is very close to her long time make-up artist Billy Manik. And recently, in a show of friendship, the actress took time off to launch her friend’s make-up academy in the city.
Billy, who has recently opened her own make-up academy called Out Of The Box Make-up, has been associated with the actress for more than three years. The make-up artist has also worked with Tamannah in many of her projects including her previous films such as Humshakals and Baahubali. Later, Tamanna even took the opportunity to talk about what she has learnt from Billy about the art of make-up. Says Tamannah, “It was Billy who first put the idea in my head that skin care is actually the new make-up. And in our lives, nothing is as important as make-up.”
Elaborating on the importance of make-up, Tamannah says, “Our day starts with make-up. It allows us to play so many different characters. And in today’s day and age, everyone, especially the youth is extremely well-informed about make-up. Nowadays, you don’t really have to be an actress to know the perfect winged eye-liner.” The actress herself is known to bring different shades to her character through the use of make-up. In fact, she had to get an entirely different skin tone for her role in Baahubali.
Telling us about the experience, she says, “I had to change my skin tone for the film as the role required it. However in real life, I am very minimalistic when it comes to make-up, I don’t put anything except the bare minimum.”
