Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor get their basketball moves right

Arjun Kapoor is busy getting his basketball game right, while shooting for his next movie, Half Girlfriend. Director Mohit Suri has already started shooting for the movie that is based on Chetan Bhagat’s best-selling novel of the same name and has cast Shraddha Kapoor opposite Arjun.

We now hear that over 200 students from different colleges have been roped in to play extras, since many scenes in the movie demanded the presence of Delhi University students in the film. Chetan himself shared a picture of Arjun, Shraddha and him at a basketball court, surrounded by students they played alongside. “Arjun and Shraddha doing daily basketball practice for months before the basketball shoot,” wrote Chetan along with the picture.

Arjun will be essaying the role of Madhav Jha, a national-level basketball player in the movie and the actor has been training with an international basketball team to perfect his game and moves before he shoots the scenes.

Given Mohit’s track record of a string of successful movies, there are high hopes from Half Girlfriend too. According to reports, the movie is going to be shot in Patna, Delhi, Rajasthan, Cape Town and New York.
