Akshay Kumar tours New York city with family

It was only some time ago that Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna returned from their family vacation in Europe, but thanks to the scheduled promotions of Akshay’s upcoming film, Rustom, the family made its way to New York. While Akshay was in the city for promotional events, he posted some fun pictures of the family enjoying themselves in US.

On July 8, Akshay was invited as the guest of honour at a Parsi community event in New York. The actor was presented with a pendant of Asho Farohar or Faravahar, a symbol of Zoroastrianism. Akshay promptly put up a picture of the same on Instagram and wrote, “Blessed and honoured to receive this Faravahar from the Zoroastrian community in New York & New Jersey! Thank you so much for your best wishes for Rustom.” (sic)
