He has been away from the limelight for some time now, but Abhijeet Bhattacharya is back. The singer has lent his voice to Ranbir Kapoor for his upcoming film Besharam and considers it his big comeback. “It’s going be a comeback for real playback singing as well. My songs have always added a new lease of life to the characters and this one’s going to be no different,” says Abhijeet who believes that the days of good playback singing are behind us. “These days there are no songs that add value to a character. Sooner or later they all become remixes and live a short life,” he adds. For someone who is known to be the voice of Shah Rukh Khan, what was it like singing for the RK “I don’t sing keeping in mind the actor. In fact, I think of the girl it is being dedicated to and that makes the song more real for me,” he says.
