RIC should properly deal with bilateral ties: Chinese foreign minister

New Delhi: In a message that seems to have been aimed at India, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Tuesday said India, China and Russia should “correctly treat and properly handle sensitive factors in bilateral relations, and safeguard the overall situation of their relations”.

This comes a week after the bloody cash between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan valley in the Ladakh sector.

According to Chinese news agency Xinhua, the Chinese Foreign Minister—while delivering his address at the (Russia-India-China) RIC meeting at the foreign ministerial level through video conference---said the three countries should “carry forward the spirit of openness, unity, trust and cooperation” and “further build consensus, plan their cooperation and send positive signals to the world” while “safeguarding world peace and development”.
