Pakistan President condemns violence on Kashmiris

Pak President urged major powers and the UN Security Council to invest in a diplomatic process to find a solution to the Kashmir dispute.

Islamabad: Sardar Masood Khan, President, Pakistan Administrated Kashmir, condemned on Monday the alleged killing, blinding and maiming of Kashmiris by the Indian forces. In a meeting with the visiting British Parliamentary delegation here, the Pakistan President urged major powers and the UN Security Council to invest in a diplomatic process to find a solution to the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people.

He urged the British House of Commons to use its influence to persuade the UN and other international forums to bring to an end to “state-sponsored violence and terrorism in Kashmir” and promote a political dialogue.

“The Kashmiris want a democratic and peaceful solution,” Masood Khan said and appealed the UK parliamentarians to help them achieve this goal.
