Islamabad: A Pakistani accountability court on Wednesday resumed hearing of Avenfield properties, Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investment references against the Sharif family.
During the proceeding headed by Justice Mohammad Bashir, a 900-page transactions record of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s bank accounts was submitted in the court whereas National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor’s witness Malik Tayyab has also recorded his statement.
The witness told the court that Nawaz Sharif did four transactions on March 11, 2017 while he also deposited $1 million in Pakistan currency in his account on the same date.
On February 7, 2017, Nawaz Sharif had withdrawn $2200 from his account, he continued.
Malik Tayyab further said that Nawaz Sharif’s son Hussain Nawaz sent him $30,000 on December 23, 2010.
