Bongo Shongho is celebrating the works of Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam by organizing an extravaganza on the annual Bijoya Sammelani

New Delhi: The residents of Tanzania’s chief commercial and harbour city, Dar es Salaam, particularly the expatriates who have found hosted cultural programme, organised by Bongo Shongho.

The platform is celebrating the works of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam by organizing an extravaganza on the annual Bijoya Sammelani. The Shongo will be staging plays, songs, recitations and dances.

Besides holding cultural programmes, the organisation also indulge in various other social activities, which range from building classrooms, providing ambulances to help the needy, disabled and orphaned.

On the July 4, Bangiyo Shahityo Sanskriti organized an online cultural evening consisting of three east African countries – Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania to their respective cultural abilities. The event is called Chander Pahar Bangali.
