The makers of upcoming family drama Waaris have roped in the famous Nooran sisters for the show’s title track. The sisters who created quite a stir with the chartbuster Pattaka Guddi from Highway have finished recording the track already.

The song Maeeri has been sung in both Hindi and Punjabi. Speaking of it, music director of the show Saurav Kalsi says, “The girls are so talented, I never had to tell them anything. They are so down-to-earth and such wonderful souls that it automatically translates into their voice. I had a great time recording the song with them. It was done in four hours flat. I am very sure the audience is going to love their voice.” The Nooran sisters- Jyoti and Sultana come from a family of musicians. The girls have been trained in Sufi music over the last ten years by their illustrious father Ustad Gulshan Mir.
