Huawei Honor 8 to launch today

Huawei is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone in India.

Huawei is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone called Honor 8 in India. The launch event is scheduled to being at 11:30am IST in New Delhi. The company plans on introducing Huawei Honor 8 along with several other devices.

Huawei’s Honor 8 has already been launched in China in July. The official India debut will be taking place today.

Huawei’s Honor 8 will feature Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s EMUI 4.1 skin on top. The device will offer users with 3 memory and in-built storage variants namely, 3GB RAM and 32GB of in-built storage, 4GB RAM and 32GB on internal storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model.

The device which is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 950 processor, will further come equipped with a 5.20-inch full HD LTPS LCD with 423ppi pixel density.

On the camera front, the smartphone will sport 12MP dual cameras and 8MP of front camera. The rear panel also features a fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone costs approximately CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 20,000) for the 3GB variant in China at the time of its launch. Stay tuned for more updates.
