The Bluetooth earbuds will have better battery life compared to other Bluetooth headphones.

According to a report by Forbes, Apple has developed a custom Bluetooth radio chip for Bluetooth earphones.

The earbuds are expected to have better battery life then other Bluetooth headphones available in the market. Apple is also expected to use a third-party supplier like Broadcom, which they used for other wireless technologies.

Apple has recruited developers from Oakland-based semiconductor startup called Passif. There are also reports that the headphones have been delayed in the past due to performance issues.

It is highly unlikely that Apple will bring the new earbuds alongside its much anticipated iPhone 2016 model. It will go against the likes of Samsung’s Bluetooth earphones, GearIconX.

According to Forbes’ anonymous source “The way it works at Apple is if it doesn’t work 100%, it gets cut,”

So there is a possibility that we'll either get a top notch headphone or nothing at all. We take this piece of information with a grain of salt until the company finally reveals the product.
