Samsung will officially announce the Galaxy M40 on June 11.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 will be sold on Amazon.

This year, Samsung introduced a new series —the M-Series of handsets and as of now, the brand has launched three handsets in the range. After receiving immense success with this series of handsets, Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy M40, the flagship device from this new series. After the June 11 launch date leaked, it’s now the turn of the first official image of the handset to make its way online.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 will be sold on Amazon and unlike other handsets in this series; this is the first one to feature a punch-hole display. The other handsets from this series come with the Infinity-V notched design. While there is a single shooter up-front, the rear comes with a triple sensor configuration that’s similar to the Galaxy M30. The main sensor on the rear is a 32MP shooter while the selfie-camera is rated at 16MP. The rear of the handset will also play home to a fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the Galaxy M40 will feature a Snapdragon 675 SoC that’s coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This Samsung handset will be priced at around Rs 20,000 in India and will be Rs 2,000 more expensive than the Galaxy M30.
