Every Samsung Galaxy smartphone Android 10 update revealed
The Samsung Galaxy flagships and lower-end handsets will all get Android 10 within a span of some weeks.
Samsung has just revealed its Android 10 release cycle and what could be a first for the brand, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer may release the update for both flagship and budget models in the span of a few weeks. As per the Indian roadmap for Samsung products for its Android 10 update, the Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30, Galaxy A30 are all set to be updated in January.
It is indeed quite an achievement what Samsung is managing here and updating all of its lower-end devices as soon as possible is nothing to scoff at. The brand has also started developing Android 10 firmware for the Galaxy M20 and M30 in mid-November and it is already running beta programs for the 208 and 2019 flagships like the S10 series, S9 series, Note 9 series and Note 10 series.
The Galaxy A30 is also included as a part of the update and it is commendable that Samsung is also providing an update for it considering it is not as popular as its other devices. However, its hardware is similar to the M30, so upgrading it shouldn’t be a major task. As per a related report by SamMobile, “The Galaxy M40 is slated to get the update in March, but the rollout will only begin in earnest for the rest of Samsung’s eligible devices — including the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Tab S6 — from April.”
