Moto E4 to launch soon: report

Mumbai-based retailer suggests that the smartphone may start at a price of Rs 8,700.

Lenovo-backed Motorola appears to be preparing for the launch of its next budget-smartphone — the Moto E4. Reports suggest that a Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom took to Twitter to announce that the Moto E4 is going to arrive in the Indian market soon, at a starting price of Rs 8,700.

The firm unveiled the device first last month in US. At the time of the launch, the smartphone was priced at $129.99. Specification-wise, the Moto E4 packs a 5-inch HD display (720 x 1280 pixel resolutions) and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The smartphone offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards. The Moto E4 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS and houses a 2,800mAh battery with support for Rapid Charging. It is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor. On the camera front, the device sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash coupled with a 5MP front shooter. Connectivity options in the device include: 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. The aforementioned information has not been confirmed by the company as yet.
