Samsung unveils Galaxy J7 Prime 2 for Rs 13,999

Korean tech giant Samsung has announced the next Galaxy smartphone for the Indian market. The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 is designed with a metal unibody that features a 5.5-inch full HD LCD display and boasts of a 2.5D surface glass. The smartphone features a front-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 is powered by the company’s own home-brewed Exynos chipset that features 1.6GHz octa core processors and supports 3GB of RAM. 32GB of internal storage has been provided and the hybrid SIM slot can support a micro SD card which can extend the storage by up to 256GB. The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 also sports 13MP cameras on both the front and rear with an aperture of f/1.9 for both sensors.

The J7 Prime 2 also comes pre-loaded with Samsung’s latest ‘Make for India’ innovation – Samsung Mall. It allows you to click pictures of the product or use an image already stored in your phone's gallery and then search for the same online.

The J7 Prime 2 also features Samsung Pay Mini, which is designed to cater to the requirements of Indian mid-segment consumers. It provides a comprehensive platform for government’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) as well as e-wallets.
Galaxy J7 Prime 2 is priced at Rs 13,990 in India and will be available in Black and Gold colour variants.
