Days before IFA, pictures of Nokia 7.2 leaked

Just days before HMD’s debut at Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin, multiple pictures have leaked on the internet of its upcoming Nokia 7.2 model. Long awaited, the model is expected to launch at the event on September 5th, it shall be a successor to the Nokia 7.1.

Previous leaks have revealed that the phone will have a 48MP camera with 2 other sensors and a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display.

The pictures confirm a good part of that speculation. Leaked by website TechMesto, they  show the upcoming handset in cyan-coloured body from the front as well from the back, There, it has a tri-camera set up with a flash in a circular camera bump. The back also has a fingerprint scanner while the front only has a water drop notch at the top for the front camera and the screen.

The phone is expected to wield a Snapdragon 660/710 processor with a 4GB/6GB of RAM according to a FCC certificate discovered for a Nokia phone believed to be the 7.2. It is also expected to support the latest Android 9 Pie.

A series of leaks have come forth about the upcoming Nokia phone. Last week, Zeiss’s head of communication Joachim Kuss tweeted that the 7.2 had been shown to some tech reporters at its office, along with a picture of the models camera and a comment on how mobile photo and videography has evolved. He later deleted the tweet however there are screenshots of it.
