ZOPO has officially taken the wraps off its budget-friendly smartphone, Speed X in India at a starting price of Rs 9,499. The device comes with a special artificial intelligence (AI) called Niki, which is apparently funded by Ratan Tata.
On the specifications front, the smartphone sports a 5-inch full-HD display with an added protection of 2.5D curved-glass display. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and 450MHz Mali T720GPU for GPU. On the storage front, the smartphone offers 3GB DDR3 RAM along with 32GB of internal storage, which a 128GB expansion option as well. On the camera front, the smartphone features a dual rear camera system with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, OmniVision OV13850 sensor along with a 2MP secondary camera. The device further goes on to feature a 13MP front-facing camera with OmniVision OV12830 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, soft LED flash. The smartphone houses a 2,680mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
The smartphone also sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the device. On the connectivity front, the device includes a hybrid dual SIM (nano+nano/microSD), 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
