OnePlus 6T’s prices have been leaked online ahead of its official announcement on October 29.

The prices of the OnePlus 6T have been leaked.

With the launch date just a few days away, most of the big leaks regarding the features of the OnePlus 6T have already been spilt. The handset is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and a redesigned notch but the biggest leak of all — its price was kept a closely guarded secret. That is until now.

As per a tweet by serial tipster, Ishan Agarwal who is well known for leaking accurate information pertaining to smartphones has recently shared the prices of the OnePlus 6T. In his tweet, he claims that the Mirror Black OnePlus 6T with a configuration of 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage will sell for Rs 37,999, the Mirror/ Midnight Black version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will be priced at Rs 40,999 while the Midnight Black 8GB + 256GB variant will cost Rs 44,999.

To put this in perspective, the OnePlus 6 base variant was priced at Rs 34,999 however; it came with 64GB of onboard storage while the 6T will start at 128GB. The higher-end variants are priced at Rs 1,000 more than the OnePlus 6, however, we cannot confirm the authenticity of these prices till OnePlus officially announces them.

In related OnePlus 6T news, the brand has preponed the launch date of the handset too a day earlier. OnePlus’ Pete Lau announced the October 29 date in a blog post as the main reason for shifting the date to an earlier day was because it was clashing with Apple’s iPad Pro and MacBook event that’s slated for October 30.

OnePlus fans should rejoice at this news as now the handset will be unveiled a whole day earlier.

We already know that the OnePlus 6T will lose the capacitive fingerprint sensor and feature an in-display fingerprints sensor. This has also led to the omission of the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is why OnePlus will be introducing the USB-C wired headphone as well. The notch on the display will also be a tad smaller than before. Underneath, it’s essentially a OnePlus 6 with a Snapdragon 845, at least 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
