In what appears to be the biggest iPhone leak ever, an anonymous Foxconn employee has shared a ton of details about the iPhone 11 Pro smartphones.  As per a leaked email, Apple will introduce a brand new colour to its iPhone 11 Pro series this September. The insider also has let it be known that the rear of this year’s models will come with a non-slippery surface.

While details may have been available about Apple’s upcoming iPhones and we pretty much know what to expect; there is a chance that we may actually be in for a massive surprise. The upcoming flagship smartphones are expected to feature a triple camera setup on the rear in a square camera bump. However, a leaker, who apparently works at Foxconn, claims to have fresh information about the iPhone 11 Pro lineup. In an email that was first published by AnTuTu’s Chinese website has revealed that the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will come in four colour options — including a colour we have yet to see.

Apart from the existing Space Grey, Silver and Gold, Apple will be launching its flagships in a new dark green option. This sounds interesting and knowing how particular Apple’s design team is when it comes to its products, we can expect this new coloured variant to be an absolute stunner.

The same tipster also claims that the upcoming iPhones will feature a matte-finish on its rear glass panel while the ‘iPhone’ branding will disappear leaving just the Apple logo. This finish could benefit those who like to carry their iPhones naked and without a case.

This year’s iPhones won’t come with a USB-C port unfortunately but will boast larger batteries. The iPhone 11 Pro Max is expected to come with a 3969mAh battery that’s sourced from Huizhou Desai and Xinwangda. This battery size is a major improvement over the 3174mAh battery found in the iPhone XS Max. As far as storage goes, Apple will also be adding the same configurations as seen in the iPhone XS lineup with there being 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models.

As of now, these details are unverified, but with the launch coming up quick, we expect further leaks to arrive.
