Apple fanboys — the day has finally arrived, Apple will be unveiling the new iPhones for 2018-19 tonight that have long been in rumours for bringing crazy concepts and ideas. Up until now, leaks from industry insiders have suggested that we could be expecting three new models, with one being the successor to iPhone 8, expected to be called the iPhone 9. Well, a tweet with a photo showing a prototype iPhone 9 is now circulating on the Internet.
The photo shows the alleged iPhone 9 or iPhone Xc in real. The unit is Space Grey colour variant and confirms a glass rear panel. As speculated previously, there’s a single rear camera with a noticeable bump, indicating an improved image sensor when compared to the iPhone 8. The frame is finished in a matte shade, with the slider for profiles and one of the volume rocker buttons visible. The handset is noticeably thick too — does Apple have something else in surprise related to the battery life?
The iPhone 9 is expected to be the entry-level model to the 2018 lineup with a fullscreen 6.1-inch LCD display and Apple’s FaceID sitting on a notch on top. Apple will be unveiling the handset tonight and we will have full details on the most-hyped iPhone model in the recent times.
