New Nokia handset with 5G, SD855 rumoured for 2019

The rumour stated that the cameras will sport better clarity with a bigger sensor that the original Nokia 9 PureView.

The leak also goes out to state that the new handset will sport a 2K display and have a completely edge-to-edge display with no notch and a hole for the front camera.

A tweet from a little-known twitter account by the name of Nokia_Leaks (@LeaksNokia) stated that a Nokia 9 PureView successor is planned for launch ahead in 2019, but not before August. The handset in question will sport an SD855 chipset, sport 5G network and will have a 5-sensor camera array on the rear.

The leak also goes out to state that the new handset will sport a 2K display and have a completely edge-to-edge display with no notch and a hole for the front camera. The fingerprint sensor is also said to be placed below the display.

While it is a bit too early to confirm these rumours, there have been a lot of talks around the penta-camera Nokia that seems to be brewing in the HMD kitchen. As per previous leaks, the New Nokia 9 PureView 2019 has said to have passed the Bluetooth certification and variants such as TA-1094, TA-1082 & TA-1087 were listed on a China website early December 2018.

While these rumours cannot be confirmed as yet, they cannot be ignored either. However, we do not endorse the same and would wait for more leaks and rumours to pour in.
