The Rs 199 plan will go live starting today, and interested users can subscribe from the Netflix website.

After many rumours made their way to the web, Netflix has finally released their much awaited mobile-only plan for Indian users. The plan itself will cost subscribers just Rs 199 per month, which is even lesser than the rumoured Rs 250 per month.

The plan as of now is only limited to India. It might launch in other regions of the world after Netflix is done with their reported testing.

Netflix aims to bring a personalized watching experience for the Indian smartphone users with the plan. The company had recently revealed that India has the largest number of smartphone users globally and a plan to target the Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities would soon make its way.

The Rs 199 plan will go live starting today, and interested users can subscribe from the Netflix website. Note that the mobile only plan will support only one screen compared to the standard Netflix subscription, and it will support SD (Standard Definition) streaming.
