PUBG Update: First look at the Erangel 2.0 map

The company is currently developing the ‘Erangel 2.0’ map which will likely look like the revamped map on the PC platform.

The map truly does look a lot more realistic than before, but it will also mean that more processing power will be required to run the game.

Tencent, the makers behind popular Battle Royale title PUBG (Player Unknown’s Battle Grounds) had recently revealed that they were planning to revamp one of their original maps , during the PUBG Mobile Club Open finals 2019.

The map they were talking about has been revealed to be Erangel, the very first map of the game. The company is currently developing the ‘Erangel 2.0’ map which will likely look like the revamped map on the PC platform.

The company showcased a preview of how key areas on the new map would look after the update. Watch the video here-

The video depicts massive graphic updates in areas like Yasnaya Polyana, Mylta Power and the Prison. The map truly does look a lot more realistic than before, but it will also mean that more processing power will be required to run the game.

While we do not yet have a launch date for the new update that will bring the map with it, it is speculated that the change will be seen in the 0.14.5 update.
