Messaging app, Telegram has rolled out a new update for iOS and Android (v5.10) phones. The new update features an array of new and innovative features.

There is now an option to send messages without any sound, users can select if they want the receiver's phone to ring or not. Simply hold the Send button to have any message or media delivered without sound, and the recipient will get a notification as usual, but their phone won't make a sound. This feature also works with group chats.

Another innovative feature is the new slow mode – admin of the group can enable this mode from the group permissions section. This mode allows the group members only to message after the set time interval is expired, basically, just one message per interval.

New customisable admin titles let you add custom titles to display in front of their names in a group. For adding a custom title, one can edit the admin rights in group settings.

Videos now appear in full thumbnails and one can add a timestamp like 0:10 to a video caption which automatically turns into a link. Recipients can click on the given timestamp link and on their end, the video will start playing at the given time.

Other new updates include animated emojis, new media attachment menu for Android users, accent colours for night mode on iOS, and a new comments widget.
