Data has become the backbone of every organisation, irrespective of them being a startup or any of the giants in the industry. With so much data flowing around, the security of that data is a top priority for these organisations and there are multiple challenges they face while protecting the data from hackers, malware, bugs and what-nots.
To put some light on the same, we had the opportunity to speak with Mr Filip Cotfas, Channel Manager, CoSoSys. CoSoSys are someone who deals with endpoint centric Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and security software.

Deccan Chronicle: Globally we have seen a drop in common security threats, but foresee more data breaches - Share your viewpoints on this.
Mr Filip Cotfas: Indeed, data breaches continue to rise and the companies are facing a greater risk than ever of having their data stolen. The increased exposure of sensitive consumer data is serious and the business began to realize how important a Data Loss Prevention solution is for their company. With more frequent data breaches expected in the following months and years, we encourage them to learn from previous incidents to better defend their customer’s data and start taking action in this direction.
