LG recently joined the wireless earphones bandwagon with their new offering, the LG Tone+ Free earphones that come with fast charging support and special tuning by Meridian Audio. The company claims the product can give an hour of music playback with just 5 minutes of charging. A full charge, however, takes 6 hours.

The earphones come with a microphone and a separate noise-cancelling microphone which makes call quality much better. The buds are IPX4 waterproof and can withstand the rain and heavy sweating.

The earphones come inside a circular charging case and they have touchpads on the sides with which functions like answering/rejecting calls, changing volume/tracks, etc can be controlled. A long press on the touchpads will also enable Google Assistant.

While the white version of the Tone+ Free will launch this month, the black version of the earphones is scheduled to release in November. The price of the earphones is roughly USD 216, which is slightly above Rs 15,000. The Pre-orders that LFG has already opened are running till October 14. While mainly focused on Domestic consumers, Son Dae-gi, head of LG Korea Marketing hopes to take the product outside South Korea as well.
