Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite tablet launched with stylus support and four speakers

The tablet ships with the company’s M-Pen lite stylus, which supports 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity. Notably, the stylus will only be accessible in select markets.

Huawei has launched a new mid-range tablet labelled Mediapad M5 Lite, that boasts of an aluminium unibody and a quartet of speakers.

The new tablet is built around a Kirin 659 processor and runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device features a 10-inch 16:10 display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. The tablet comes in two configuration — 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. It will be available in Champagne Gold and Space Grey colour variants.

The tablet is backed by a 7500mAh battery. Additionally, the device ships with the company’s M-Pen lite stylus, which supports 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity. Notably, the stylus will only be accessible in select markets. Furthermore, as mentioned, the company is touting the quad-speaker setup tuned by Harman/Kardon that works with the company's Histen 5.0 sound system to replicate surround sound experience.  

As for the pricing, the company is yet to reveal the cost at which the device will be available. The MediaPad M5 Lite will be seen competing against the mid-range tablet from Samsung.
