Otters Club were a little shaky at the start against NSCI, as Tanay Punjabi and Varun Shah both lost to their respective opponents.

A combined effort from Agastya and Kavya Bansal helped the host Otters Club sail through to the semi final round of the Otters Inter Club Juniors Squash League 2018, organised by the Indian Squash Professionals at the Otters Club Squash Courts.

Otters Club were a little shaky at the start against NSCI, as Tanay Punjabi and Varun Shah both lost to their respective opponents. And with only one game to win, NSCI was expected to win the tie, but Agastya & Kavya Bansal overpowered their respective opponents with both the players only conceding one point through the match. With the game poised equally between the two teams, it was Adesh K who sealed the deal for Otters Club by winning the fifth rubber against Vivaan Bhatia with a 11-2, 7-11, 11-6 scoreline. Both the teams made it to the semis on the basis of overall points.

In another match, Jindal Squash Academy (JSA)  defeated Goregaon Sports club by a narrow margin, on their way to the semis. Mohit Bhatt and Nupur Joshi gave JSA the start they needed by winning both their matches. However, Pratap Gupta of JSA did not prove much of a challenge to Vivaan Sagar who outplayed him with a 11-1, 11-1 scoreline. Om Semwal managed to pull things back for  JSA by beating Aryan Mehta 11-3, 12-10 in an exciting finish which helped Jindal seal the last four spot.
