Maharashtra beat Bihar by 10 wickets to emerge champions, in the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ASISC) National T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by N.L. Dalmia High School, Mira Road, at the Police Gymkhana.
Electing to bat, Bihar overcame a middle-order collapse to reach 149 for 8 in 20 overs after opener Ankit Jamshed Raj remained till the end to slam a responsible 79 in 59 balls with 11 fours, until he was run out off the last ball of the final over.

Requiring 7.5 runs per over, Maharashtra openers Rane and Tatsat Singh made it look easy with an explosive partnership, as the former remained unbeaten on 55 with five boundaries and a six while man-of-the-match Singh fired an unbeaten 88 in 45 balls that was studded with 10 fours and five sixes that lit up the day-night championship round.
