SRCC claim 4th consecutive title

Shri Ram College of Commerce maintained their winning streak, edging Ramjas College 66-43 to lift their fourth consecutive YMCA inter-college basketball tournament women’s title in the capital on Saturday night.
Led by India’s junior international Princy Rathore, SRCC cruised to the victory in style.
Playmaker Princy top-scored with 13 points and was declared the best player of the tournament.
Saira’s 12 points at crucial stages of the game tilted the balance in SRCC’s favour.
It was a heartbreaking defeat for Ramjas, who have won titles in a couple of recent tournaments.
In the men’s section, Hans Raj College defeated Jamia Millia Islamia University 64-57.
Akshay of Hansraj (16 pts) was declared the best player in the section.
