Chris Fernandes of Glenmark Foundation set the record on the opening day of the 46th Bombay YMCA Inter Club Swimming Championship. Fernandes clocked 2:33.72 seconds in the 200m individual medley to eclipse the 2014 mark of 2:34.99 set by CCI’s Raoul Rajani, for his maiden men’s record.

Fernandes went on to add the 100m breaststroke gold and clocked 59.32 seconds for the 100m freestyle gold, missing the 2013 mark of 59.30 by CCI’s Hormuz Baliwala.
