New Delhi: Runners-up in the last two seasons, Mohun Bagan will look to begin their quest for the I-League on a winning note against Minerva Punjab FC in Ludhiana on Saturday.

Coach Sanjay Sen was optimistic about his team’s chances in the 11th edition of the tournament.

“Mohun Bagan always play to win. There is no runners-up mentality in our team. Our only goal is to be the champions.”

Having won the title in the 2014-15 season, Mohun Bagan finished second to Bengaluru FC and Aizawl in the following editions.

Minerva are largely comprised of young players with Anwar Ali and Souvik Das being the experienced players in their ranks.
