Mumbai: Neymar has wished Lionel Messi a happy birthday on social media amid rumours that the Brazil star will be making a return to Barcelona.

According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain are willing to sell Neymar. PSG's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has also stated in an interview that the club will no longer tolerate the celebrity behaviour of the 27-year-old.

Neymar has also been linked with Real Madrid since a long time but with the club as already acquired players like Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao and Ferland Mendy to strengthen their squad.

Barcelona is reportedly considering bringing Neymar to Camp Nou, with talisman Messi being the main force behind the deal.

And on the Barcelona captain's 32nd birthday, Neymar posted a message to his former teammate on social media.

"Happy birthday, brother," Neymar wrote on his Instagram Story. "May God bless you always."

Brazil team-mates Philippe Coutinho and Arthur have expressed their desire to have Neymar back at Camp Nou.

According to a report in UK newspaper Independent, Neymar has also been linked to Manchester United. The report also stated that PSG was keen to discuss a potential swap for Neymar deal involving Paul Pogba, but Manchester United was not interested in the deal.
