Mumbai: Pakistan cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has come under the fire on Twitter for comparing himself with star batsmen Virat Kohli, Joe Root, and Kane Williamson.

Although Shehzad is considered to be one of the most talented batsmen in Pakistan, he has been dropped by the Pakistan selectors due to indiscipline.

The 25-year-old has not been able to get a spot back in the squad despite scoring a century in the Pakistan domestic circuit.

"If you look at Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson & Joe Root, you will see that unlike me, they all got a lot of support," Shehzad was quoted as saying to renowned Pakistani journalist Saj Sadiq.
