Defending champions Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania fashioned a seven-wicket win over Gokuldham to compete a hat-trick of titles, in the Association of ICSE Schools in Maharashtra (AISM) Regional T20 Inter-Schools Cricket Tournament, organised by N.L. Dalmia High School, Mira Road, at the Police Gymkhana.

Chasing a modest target, Singhania’s formidable batsmen that included skipper and man-of-the-match Dishan Rane were uninhibited as they smashed the ball at will all over the park.

While Rane, who hit the first century in the competition in five years in the quarter-finals, scored 44 with seven boundaries, it was left-handed Jaydeep Lutharia’s cameo of 23 that lit up the day-night championship round.
