Mumbai: In India cricket is considered as the ‘next biggest religion’. And, when it comes to Indian Premier League, the largest tournament of India is considered as the ‘biggest entertainment providing stage’ for the millenials of today.

Now, coming to the actual news – a bride and a groom was cornered at their wedding when the IPL final match between Mumbai Indians, and Chennai Super Kings was being live streamed.

Instead of paying heed to the bride and groom, the guests got glued to the television sets to watch the most awaited IPL final between CSK and MI. As the fans got stuck watching the IPL final, a video clip of it went viral on various social media sites.

A report by Latestly states, the three-minute long clip displayed exact mood of the fans after the match went down to the wire as the two-time IPL winners, CSK required two runs from one ball to lift their third title. The fans were so glued that they forgot there was a wedding going-on.

As soon as Malinga bowled a Yorker to acquire the penultimate wicket, the wedding guests breathed a sigh of relief and celebrated their home team’s win after MI won by one run

Mumbai lifted the coveted trophy for the fourth time in the history of IPL. The four-time IPL winners is said to have celebrated their win in an open bus in Mumbai in front of their fans.
