Mumbai: India is set to face table toppers New Zealand on June 13 at the Nottingham. Ahead of the clash between the table leaders and the number two ranked ODI side, the Indian players warmed up a bit before the rains intervened and stopped their training session.  

The United Kingdom has been facing an array of rain barrages in several cities. Especially the southern part of England experienced a series of heavy drizzles. Coming back to the weather report, the forecast for today’s game doesn’t look good as the report states that there’s a 90 per cent chance that it will rain today. However, if the match still gets underway, then it will be a shortened game.

A rain-affected game isn't something that either of the sides will be hoping for as external factors would take the spotlight like the DLS system. The current situation has brought down the morale of all the teams as the barrages of rain have forced forfeiture of three matches.
