Mumbai: Shikhar Dhawan’s ton was pivotal in India’s 36 runs win over Australia. But, most importantly Dhawan found his form. However, with that ton, Dhawan became the third opening batsman after Sachin, Sourav to score at least three hundreds in the World Cup.

The dashing Indian opener had notched up two hundreds in the 2015 edition of World Cup. During the match against Australia, Dhawan had reached the three figures in 95 balls to guide Indian towards their second victory in the 2019 World Cup. So far, Dhawan has registered  17 hundreds under his belt.
